The NewIRON Organising Committee welcomes abstract submissions from researchers and industry professionals wishing to present at the Conference.
Abstracts must be submitted via the form below by 30 October 2026 for consideration. An Abstract Submission Template is provided below, and all submissions must be provided as a two-page extended abstract.
Successful speakers will be notified by 30 November 2026.
Following the conference, high quality submissions will be invited to submit a manuscript to the Ironmaking & Steelmaking Journal. Please indicate in the form below if you wish to be considered for this opportunity. Successful abstracts will also be included in the NewIRON 2027 conference proceedings, published through Open Research Newcastle and featured in the BHP Centre for Sustainable Steelmaking Research Collection – providing a permanent, discoverable record of your contribution.
